🔍 Project Background
This video served as the centrepiece for an exclusive leadership development event. The objective was to shape the organisational culture for newly appointed leaders, specifically addressing the often-overlooked topic of menopause in the workplace.
The goal was to increase awareness, destigmatise the conversation, and build confidence among managers in supporting colleagues experiencing menopause.
💡 The Strategy
Drawing on the 70:20:10 learning model, I moved away from traditional instructional content and focused on social learning.
The video utilised user-generated content contributed by key senior leaders. My role involved curating these authentic testimonials and weaving them into a cohesive narrative. This storytelling approach demonstrated that support for menopause was not just an HR policy, but a lived value within the leadership team.
⛳️🔥🏆 The Result & Legacy
The impact of the campaign was measured through immediate feedback and long-term engagement:
High Impact: In the post-event survey, 72% of leaders specifically cited this video as having a memorable impact on their perspective.
Community Building: To ensure sustainable behaviour change, I facilitated a post-event community on Microsoft Teams.
Peer Coaching: Using 'gentle nudge' techniques, I fostered an environment where leaders continued to coach one another, sharing advice and resources long after the initial event concluded.
🛠️ Tools used:
Adobe Premiere Pro & Audition: Editing and audio mixing of user-generated content.
Microsoft Teams: Community management and social learning facilitation.
Survey Tools: Data collection for impact evaluation.
